Winemaker's Comments: This wine is an original combination of Cabernet Sauvignon grapes that were grown in two, different by nature, vineyards. This mixture, of two different terroirs, created a unique volume in the final blend, which no doubt produced a "different” Cabernet Sauvignon, in the Israeli wine landscape. This is a powerful and elegant wine, with prominent aromas of black fruits, spices and a hint of roasted oak.
The wine is full bodied and balanced, with a long and pleasant finish.

More  Information

This wine was produced from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from Alma Vineyard in Ramat Dalton, combined with the same amount of Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from Carmei Yosef vineyard, with an addition of Cabernet Franc.
After crushing the grapes, the must was macerated for 72 hours in cold temperature of 14 °, in order to extract aromas and color. The yeast was then added and the wine fermented for about 14 days. After alcoholic fermentation, the peels were pressed, but only the free run was transferred to the second fermentation, in order to receive a fine, round and velvety wine.
The wine aged for 18 months in French oak barrels and was left for aging in bottles for a few more months, before being released to the market.

This wine is an original combination of Cabernet Sauvignon grapes grown in two different by nature vineyards: The cool northern Alma vineyard, with a basalt land that provides minerals, acidity and aging ability, and Carmei Yosef vineyard, located in the Judean Mountains, which contributes an abundance of fruity aromas and intensifies the wine's body.  The collaboration of these two different terroirs created a unique volume in the final blend, which resulted in a "different” Cabernet Sauvignon than usually tasted in Israel.
This is a powerful and elegant wine, that featured a deep and dense burgundy color with prominent aromas of black fruits, spices and a hint of roasted oak.
The wine is full bodied and balanced, with a long and delightful finish.
