This wine was produced from Merlot grapes that were picked from a selected vineyard in Carmei Yosef, in the early morning hours. The wine went through alcoholic fermentation of two weeks. At the end of fermentation, the peels were pressed, but only the free run was transferred to the second fermentation, in order to receive a fine, velvety wine.
The wine aged for 8 months in high quality French oak barrels, in order to obtain a rich and round wine. Before bottling, the wine was roughly filtered and the bottles were placed in the aging room for 3 additional months of rest.
This is an impressive wine, featuring an opaque purple shade and a combined aroma of ripe black fruits, tobacco and roasted oak. This wine is full flavored, fruity and fresh with a pleasant finish.
