More  Information

White Franc 2010 is a unique and creative blend, consists of 65% Cabernet Franc which was gently pressed in order to obtain fresh and fruity juice, and 35% Sauvignon Blanc.
The Cabernet Franc grapes originate in Mata vineyard, from the Judean hills (700m alt.). The grapes were hand picked at a near-red ripeness level, in order to achieve the fruitiness and complexity that this variety has. The whole grapes were then pressed in a way that only bright, fresh and gentle juice was obtained.
The must was fermented with white-wine yeast, and the fermentation was stopped by deep cooling of the tank.
The Sauvignon Blanc grapes where harvested in Kerem Ben Zimra vineyard in the Upper Galilee (750m alt.) and where processed gently in order to produce a fresh greenish white wine. The final blend was determined after the clarification period of both wines.
White Franc 2010 is a semi-dry white wine with an appealing bronze shade and a fruity aroma of strawberries, apples and citrus-blossom. The wine features a sweetish and fresh taste and can be enjoyed as an aperitif, or with assorted Mediterranean food.
